The current branding presented an opportunity for improvement, as the visual identity could more effectively reflect the personality and essence of the brand. While there are strong elements, inconsistencies across various touchpoints can lead to a varied customer experience. By aligning these aspects, there is potential to enhance recognition and engagement, both online and offline.

The Work

The visual identity was designed to be friendly and approachable, inviting a diverse range of customers to explore Middle Eastern cuisine while honouring the rich cultural heritage. The rounded logo fosters an inviting atmosphere, incorporating subtle nods to Middle Eastern culture through its script elements and the dot on the 'i,' which is inspired by Palestinian tapestry. The colour palette reflects the bright and vibrant hues found in falafel, and browns that also echo the warm tones of shawarma cooking. Additionally, the element from the 'i' is creatively integrated into graphic elements throughout the branding, reinforcing the connection between the logo and the overall collateral.
